Sales Terms & Conditions

The eShop website https://asus.com/my (“Website”, “Service”) is operated by VSTECS ASTAR SDN BHD ("we", "us", "our", “VSTECS ASTAR”) with company registration number 199301009054 (263791-K), located at Lot 3, Jalan Teknologi 3/5, Taman Sains Selangor, Kota Damansara, 47810 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, which is the product seller of the above Shop. Contact information of VSTECS ASTAR is listed in the end of these policies. The following policies are regulated by VSTECS ASTAR for providing eShop services on the website.

Delivery and Shipping policy

1. All deliveries are only within Malaysia.

2. Street name & Post Code must be correct and accurate.

3. NO P.O. Box or International addresses.

4. If the packaging seal has any sign of opened or damaged, DO NOT accept the parcel.

5. If you are not at the address to receive your purchased order, please contact the carrier service (courier service) within a stipulated timeframe for next deliveries or pick up.

6. If the order is not collected within the stipulated time, the order may be disposed and there shall not be any refund for the amount purchased for that order

7. We only use standard packaging materials for all orders.

8. We delivery each order to one delivery address within Malaysia as provided by buyer.

SHIPPING CHARGES

1. Free shipping on all orders with no minimum spend when you shop at the ASUS E-Store (https://www.asus.com/my/store).

2. All orders are dispatched and delivered by the designated carrier from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays.

DELIVERY LEAD TIME

1. Confirmed orders will be processed within the next ONE (1) business working days, excluding Saturday, Sunday & public holidays.

2. Delivery lead time for Orders to arrive (after processing and packing) is as follows :-

a. Peninsular Malaysia : 4 - 8 business working days.*

b. Sabah & Sarawak : 8 - 10 business working days.*

*subject to courier service’s changes.

ORDER PLACEMENT

You can place orders for any of the products listed in the website. Acceptance of order is subject is both payment receipt and stock availability. VSTECS ASTAR however reserves its right to refuse to execute any transaction/s with any customer without assigning any reason/s whatsoever. Upon receiving the payment, an order number is auto generated and appears as a message at the end of payment processing (This will also be mailed at the email ID provided by you at the time of entering the order. VSTECS ASTAR will initiate the order processing after payment receipt subject to stock availability at that point of time. Orders once placed with payment cannot be cancelled. However, In the event cancellation of the order or return of your product is allowed, VSTECS ASTAR has the right to charge you a cancellation fee of ten percent (10%) of the order value.

PAYMENT

You can use various facilities, namely Credit card payment through payment gateways, EPP offers through select banks, Net banking available on the site for making payments. In case of use of Credit or Debit Cards or internet banking facilities to make payments, your information is secured through use of 128 bit Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") technology. You agree, understand and confirm that the credit card or Debit Cards or internet banking facilities used is lawfully owned or possessed by you and that you shall not pay or attempt to pay for Product(s) using fraudulent information. VSTECS ASTAR confirms that it shall use reasonable measures to ensure security of the information and will not be shared with third parties, unless required for fraud verifications or by law, regulation or court order. VSTECS ASTAR shall not be liable for any credit/debit card fraud or banking fraud.

PAYMENT GATEWAY

There are multiple payment partners providing us with a payment gateway. All online transactions will be routed through one of our payment partners. Upon successful transaction, the payment partner will collect and remit the money to VSTECS ASTAR. VSTECS ASTAR upon receiving the payment will initiate order processing.

EPP (Easy Payment Plan)

Select products may be offered on EPP as a promotional offer. This EPP offer may be restricted to credit cards of select banks. The subvention charges may be partly or fully charged to the customer as part of the offer. Such EPP offers are subject to approval by the respective banks.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Product Return

VSTECS ASTAR will accept returns or organize a replacement if the following conditions apply:

a) Invoice: 7 Days (Working Day) * from the date of Customer Invoice. Original invoice with serial number should also be submitted with the Unit.

b) VSTECS ASTAR reserves the right to audit the invoice, and also to take legal action if the invoice is found to be fake / forged.

c) Original packing must be returned along with the defective unit with accessories. It must be in good condition and complete set (outer box and inner box –No Damage, the serial number sticker must be in a good condition, no any stamps on the boxes, laptop bag cover, NB cover, laptop cover, keyboard cover).

d) Request applies in the country of purchase only.

e) Units with visible Customer Induced Damaged (CID) will not be accepted for return. It will be processed under regular warranty claim.

f) Only defects due to manufacturing faults and not caused by either directly or indirectly negligence of the consumer/purchaser are covered.

g) The device with serial number sticker altered, cancelled or removed will not be applicable for return policy.

h) Refurbished unit is not applicable for return

i) Wrong product sent, missing item from the box and product damaged in transit are eligible for return

In order to guarantee our customers' satisfaction, all parcels shipped out in sealed package, In the event of damage or shortage of goods upon arrival, please contact us within 3 days of arrival.

To return a product, please contact us by email and inspection would be held. Return items should be send together with the original box and the packaging material. We will replace the product upon inspection has completed and subject to stock availability.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, you will be required to fill up personal details and email back to VSTECS ASTAR (asus.order@vstecs.com.my) to process the refund. Kindly be informed that banking process may take up to 14 working days.

VSTECS ASTAR will be undertake the shipping cost of return provided customer return the item within 7 Days (Working Day) * from the date of Customer Invoice.

ONLINE VOUCHER CODE

The following terms and conditions apply to the redemption and use of promotional vouchers and voucher codes ("Vouchers").

1. Voucher offered, if any, is only valid on www.asus.com/my/store only.

2. A valid voucher code must be keyed in at the checkout page in order to redeem a Voucher.

3. Customers only can redeem maximum one Voucher per day.

4 The Voucher only for a one-time purchase only.

5. Voucher validity is limited period and such validity period shall be as stated in any individual voucher policy.

6. VSTECS ASTAR reserves the right to cancel or modify any order, or revoke the use of Vouchers for any reason, including the following circumstances:

(a) suspect or fraudulent purchasing or Voucher use;

(b) Voucher abuse, including the use of multiple accounts or multiple checkouts associated with the same customer or group of customers; or

(c) Malicious use of Voucher (including resold the Vouchers or customers use the Vouchers to purchasing products for resell purpose)

7. Unless otherwise stated, Vouchers are not valid in the conjunction with other on-going promotions or discounts.

8. Additional terms and conditions may be specified in relation to specific Voucher (for example, duration, eligibility, discount amount and products covered), and will govern the use and redemption of those Vouchers in addition to these terms.

10. Vouchers are not transferable and exchangeable for cash.

11. VSTECS ASTAR will not be liable and/or be required to offer replacement Vouchers, discounts, cash or otherwise compensate customers for:

(a) Expired or cancelled Vouchers;

(b) improper use of, or inability to redeem, a Voucher; or

12. VSTECS ASTAR reserves the right to alter, cancel, extend, terminate or suspend the redeemed voucher code or any part thereof or any part of the applicable terms and condition from time to time, without any prior notice.

13. VSTECS ASTAR reserves the right to change these terms & conditions or cancel any promotions at any time and without notice.
